Root & Remedy Botanics was born from a deeply personal journey — one that began with a mother’s love and a desire to heal naturally.
When my 1-year-old son developed eczema, I was determined to find a gentle solution. After countless harsh creams and temporary fixes, I turned to the wisdom of plant medicine, crafting a soothing herbal body butter infused with calendula, chamomile, and shea butter. What started as a simple act of care soon became a revelation — nature truly holds the remedies we seek.
After giving birth, I felt another calling — to reconnect with my body and honor the sacred process of healing. Through herbal yoni steams and postpartum blends, I discovered the power of warmth, herbs, and ritual to restore balance and help me feel whole again.

The Inspiration Behind My First Product
When my little one was just a baby, we started noticing patches of dry, irritated skin appearing on his arms and legs. As the months passed, his eczema worsened. No matter what creams and lotions we tried, nothing seemed to give him lasting relief. His skin was constantly red, itchy, and painful, and I could see how much it bothered him. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to watch my toddler struggle.
One day I decided to create the natural Full Body Butter from scratch, a natural, organic product with coconut oil, raw shea butter, and grass-fed beef tallow. I was skeptical at first—after all, we had tried so many products without success—but I was willing to try anything that might help my son.
